Kale Gallatin

Senior Vice President/Investments

Kale began his investment industry career in 1996 and joined Stifel in 2022 from Merrill Lynch. He previously worked in commercial banking at BancTexas, First City Bank, and NationsBank and was a Petroleum Landman at Hunt Energy Corporation early in his career. Using a client-centered approach, Kale places his clients’ personalized goals as the foundation of every wealth management strategy. He tailors his clients’ portfolios to their needs and the legacy they want to leave, focusing on multi-generational legacies. Kale also finds importance in wealth preservation and tax-mitigation strategies.

Kale earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Texas A&M University. He holds Series 7, 63, and 65 securities licenses.

Active in the community, Kale is a board member for the Baylor Scott and White Foundation of Dallas. He is a past member of the Rotary Club of Dallas, Fort Worth Stock Show Syndicate, San Jacinto Descendants, and Boys and Girls Club of Dallas. Kale also served as the past president of the Prestonwood Baptist Lions Booster Club.

Thomas Gallatin

Associate Vice President/Investments

Thomas began his investment industry career in 2018 and joined Stifel in 2022. Prior to joining Stifel, he was a Financial Advisor at Merrill Lynch, as well as a Credit Analyst at PlainsCapital Bank and Grand Bank of Texas. Thomas believes that in order to build a wealth management strategy tailored to his clients, it is important to understand their needs, goals, and risk tolerance. He helps his client create financial strategies to pass on to future generations.

Thomas earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration – Finance with a concentration in Financial Management and Investments from the University of Arkansas. He holds Series 7, 63, and 65 securities licenses.

Outside the office, Thomas loves spending time with his wife, Emily, their son, Sonny, and daughter, Lucy. He also enjoys spending time outdoors, as well as attending and listening to live music. Thomas’s family currently resides in Richardson.

Tracy Shelton

Client Relationship Manager

Tracy began her financial services career in 1983 in banking, transitioned to the investment industry in 1998, and began working with Kale in 2000. She holds Series 6, 7, 63, and 65 securities licenses. Tracy prides herself in developing close client relationships with a focus on operational efficiency and delivering a concierge level of client service.

Tracy and husband Kevin have lived in the Dallas metroplex for many years. Outside the office, they enjoy traveling and spending time with their three children and eight grandchildren.
